Project Overview:
This multi-phase project included asbestos removal and the demolition of Inverness Royal Academy’s old buildings, adjacent to the newly constructed facility. Work was carried out while the site remained operational, requiring night shifts and careful coordination to ensure safety.

- Asbestos Removal:
- 1,200m² of asbestos cement cladding.
- 32 enclosures for asbestos insulating board removal.
- 38 tonnes of asbestos waste safely disposed of.
- Demolition:
- Soft strip of internal areas.
- Mechanical demolition using hydraulic crushers and shears.
- Over 14,000 tonnes of material crushed and recycled on-site.
